I have a 2000 f150 and its starts just fine from a dead cold start but when I drive it to work and go to move it again it turns over about three to six times before starting up any suggestions?

Thanks. Could b a few things bud. Could b a fuel thing. Maybe the fuel pump is goin bad. Or could b a sensor on its way out. But it does start right? Just takes a few more cranks?

Yea when I start in mornin to head to work it starts right up bit when I get there shut it off and move it like 20 mins later to get a spot to park it takes a couple of cranks to get it going.

Also. Check the air hose that goes to your throttle body. I it's loose and suckin to much air. That could also keep it from not starting. Cold air starts easier. It combusts better. Fairly warm air may take a bit more time.

How would I fix that if its the problem?

check fuel pump operation. But I've never seen a fuel pump fail half way. They are either working or they are not working. And if they're working, chances are you wont get vapor lock.

I'd just go over the engine with a fine tooth comb and make sure nothing is loose or leaking

Would bad fuel cause this?

Winter gas is rolling through. It may. And it may not. Not to much bad fuel. But a higher octane wouldn't hurt fer a bit.

Alright ill try that to it sounded a little bit better but still took longer than it should

Bad fuel MIGHT cause it, but I classify bad fuel as sitting longer than a year. Winter blend won't vapor lock and more than summer blend will. And higher octane won't do a thing except cost you more money. Your truck requires 87, give it 87. Higher octanes are meant for higher-compression vehicles which need advanced timing.

Do you have an CELs? When you start the truck- do you go from key in straight to start or do you stop at the "ON" position for 2-3 seconds to let the fuel pump pressurize the line? I'd try that next if you don't already. If nothing, I'd look into checking the fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

Ill try that to I go strait to turning it on
