5.0 build

OK all.. I've been off site for a while with my newborn (thanks for all the support)... Now its time for my build. As I said when I got on here I'm a speed demon and looking to see what I can produce. You all know my background thus far and now I'm putting my money where my mouth is... In shooting for a low 12 second 1/4 mile and here's the plan over the next 12 months.. SLP loudmouth custom cat back . boss intake manifold, afe intake, SCT tuner, and a procharger. I will be adding pictures and how it's every step of the way along with time slips. Wish me luck. The budget is set.

Exhaust is done. I removed factory resonator and muffler and replaced with some pipe and an SLP loudmouth resonator. No performance gains noticible but she sounds beast... Now I gotta get some bite to go with the bark.

Change of plans... Be doing g some research and I'm going with the cobra jet intake instead. Makes more power all around. I'll be using a hand ported gt500 tb and a custom CAI. Have to dig a little deeper in the pocket but I think the end result will be worth it.

Baseline: 4 passes at the local strip came back with a 15.8 @ 86mph. Boo! The 2.8 60 ft didn't help but I wanted to run all base numbers. Just ordered my SCT tuner and will post box tune and custom tune numbers soon as well as stock/cat back numbers with lower tire psi. As it stands now some good traction puts it at high 14. Then this winter comes the boss intake.

Loaded the SCT stock tune in it last night. Seems to make a big difference but the track will tell. I'm ordering 3 custom tunes from stage3/5star as well.
