Rim size

I have a 2000 4x4 with stock 17" rims and stock suspension. I want to go to 16x10 rims. What size backspacing will I need?

I think tire rack.com will let you try different sizes on your vehicle and give you a list of alternative sizes that will work. Its worth a shot. I went from 17" wheels to 18" on my wife's acura with no problems.
