My truck lately has been reving really high it kind of feels like the throttle might be sticking or its not getting enough gas because it'll rev up really high but won't move much or I'll be driving along and it'll rev all the sudden. I also noticed high rev when trying to shift gears or it'll rev after shifting even though I'm shifting properly so I'm not sure if it's a throttle problem or something else. The throttle body position sensor is only a few months old. I was also thinking that the fuel filter might be gunked up. Do you guys have any ideas as to what could be causing this? My engines a 302 5.0 V8 and its a manual.

It's possible the tps Is out again. Only other thing could be the IAC.. You could try taking it off and cleaning it.

I don't have money for upgrades. When I checked the fluid it was a little metallic so I'm going to take apart the slave cylinder to see if it's malfunctioning and change the clutch which is going to be a nightmare cause its all internal
