Oil leak!!!

Sprung an oil leak on my 99 5.4 today. Got home from work and smelled it burning so I popped my hood and its coming from the passenger side somewhere around my valve covers. I know they aren't loose because I just tightened them down a week ago to fix a small oil leak. Is there anything else it coild be or do I just need to replace my valve cover gasgets?

Well. Try to clean it up as best u can to make sure it's leakin from the valve cover gasket. But if u just tweeked it for a recent leak. I'm gonna say that may be it. There about 60$ from ford. And they only sell em as pairs. So u can do both Very easy. Take u about 2-3 hrs. Just make sure that's what it's leaking from. U dont wanna throw $$ at it and hope for the best. U wanna throw $$ at the problem. But all in all it's a relatively easy job. Get a Haines manual. Tells u everything about every nut and bolt

Yeah agree ^^^ wash and if I want black light test it. But a good visual inspection goes along way.
