4x4 in cold weather-30

I got a brand new 2014 fordf150 fx4 when i start it and let it warm up start driving out it in4x4 and push on pedal quite a bit and theres grinding cause of vacuum 4x4 system anyone elshave this problem ? Or know what is doing this?????

Mine has done the same thing. But I didn't wait till it engaged all the way. After I backed up and retried it everything was all good. Maybe that's what happened to you.

My 11 does it all the time when its real cold and I put it in 4hi it makes a god awful whinning grinding like noise. My gmc never did this of course my dealer says its normal.
