I have a f150 2002 4.6 v8 4x4 supercrew i got a water leak in the back of the motor i began to notice cause i smell the coolan inside the truck! I check the heater hose they are fine!! N the leak is down the passager side any help guys will help

Not so nice anymore, well depends on the area actually lol. The state is nice, the people aren't haha. And nice I have a 2005 F-150 4.6L Supercab. As for the leak, the hoses are fine? Are they all tight? What side is the reservoir on? Cause mine is more in the back but on the drivers side. And could be the pump but doubt it, could just be a small crack/leak in the engine block, but check the other stuff first.

Try looking at your head gaskets. There tricky because it might b bad on the top of the head and just rolling down the side. I have a 5.4 and my head gasket went. And I didn't know until it was too late. If there is water coming down. The only thing it could b is ur heads. On that particular part where u explained it was coming from. But to be sure. Get a flash light and check every crevis to b sure it's not the head gasket. Good luck homes. Leme know how u make out

Hey man it could b. I'm just sayin from my experiance. I had an 03 cobra with a 4.6 and the head gasket went on that too. All I'm sayin is follow that water as best as u can bro. Could b the head.
If u can't find it comin from any lines or hoses. I would bet that could be it. High mileage?

Werd. Sounds like its just starting. If u can't find the leak I would pressure test the cylinder. Which ever one doesn't hold is where ur leak is.

Or. You could find the leak somewhere else. It could b it's just running down something and u haven't caught it yet. But I'm gonna say it could b ur head gasket homes. Good luck

I would try to find that leak n let you know joe thank!! My uncle has a f100 ranger lariat xlt 79 with only 65,000 miles i would post some pics so you can see it! Everything is stock the motor even the a/c is stock n still working
