92 is 9th gen. and 89 is 8th gen. So there is a probability that it won't. I'd do some research on it if I were you.

Okay, thanks. I live in southeast Michigan where we use salt on the roads(we are on 1 big salt mine)As soon as we drive a new truck off of the lot,it's exposed to salt.Even more so for me because I've plowed snow for over 30 years! I found a really nice '89 150 4x4 in Arizona,but really don't like the front end-even though I've owned an '87 and 89.Anyone that knows of a clean 9th gen supercab 4x4(anywhere in the U.S.,I'll have it shipped to me)Please let me know.Thanks again for the info.

Why not just find a newer truck? There are a boat-load of them down here in sunny Florida.
