I Bought a used 2004 f150 6 months ago and there has been a few issues with it. One of the problems i noticed was it was chugging when id give it gas sometimes, never when i had my dad in the truck to show him this chugg. But i noticed it happening more the other day then it would start and idle then die to the point i couldn't keep it running. so i had someone look at the truck and it ended up being the fuel pump module. The module had curroded a hole right threw itself, u could see the computer chip inside. And after the fuel pump module was replaced this chugg so far hasnt be an issue.

Right on! Was it a shore vehicle from the previous owner?

I don't know what you mean shore

I think Dr. Fatthumbs up there meant store, as in a stored vehicle from the previous owner lol.

Did it come from somewhere humid or salty?

Haha lol No i bought it from a small local dealer and after about a month it still wants to chuge. I was reading it could be spark plugs and i was told to put some injecter cleaner in the gas.. Nothing so far

Spark plugs, dirty throttle body, fouled injectors, dirty air/and or fuel filter, or a clogged IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. Could be the possible culprits, check the air filter first and see if you can find out what maintenance has been done to it recently SI you can go from there on checking the other things.

I would start with spark plugs. Is that a 3v? Or a 2V
