Yeah maybe once I get my truck running right I can save up for one. I went with my uncle and his buddies years ago and the one let me use his bow after that I wanted to be a bow hunter

What kind of bow(s) would you recommend, or like the most?

I will never tell anyone to buy any specific bow or brand. Everyone is so different and with so many bows on the market the choices are endless and only you can decide what feels best for you.

I suggest you figure out your budget first. Include in your budget a release, arrows, sight, rest, quiver, etc..... then go do your homework. Test as many bows as you can and you will quickly figure out what you like and don't. I also suggest you shoot a bow or two that is just a bit over and under your budget. This will help for you to understand why bows are priced how they are.

Now as for me I shoot a Mathews. I love my bow and couldn't be happier. I have over the years owned Hoyts and PSE's and would never tell someone they weren't good bows.

Find a few good pro shops(not large retailers), befriend the staff and start your homework. If they are good shops they should be happy to help educate you on the bows and will be invaluable for years to come. Remember just like trucks bows will require regular service so find someone you like and go have fun! Keep us posted on what you get!

Thank you for the advice I appreciate it. I probably won't be able to get a bow anytime soon, however I think I'll start my homework on the bows now so that I can get an idea of what feels good and get an idea of price ranges. Maybe check out different types of arrows why I'm at it.
