Headers or programmer????

Have a 2006 f150 FX4 OFF ROAD 5.4L V8 triton and I want more power. But I have a set price of nothing above $450-$500. And I have a superchips programmer but I heard that the edge is the best. But I was thinking about getting headers or a different programmer.

Well the programmer will give you power, but you already have one. I doubt one gives more than the other, and if they do, it will be negligible. As far as the exhaust manifold, I'm not exactly sure if they do free power, or just move the torque curve. Also, I would NOT get it off eBay. That crap was probably made in china or something and I would for sure visit a reputable shop and have them order a kit from Flomaster or Magnaflow or something.
