My uncle is terminal with cancer and doesn't have long to live so the family has decided to do the big family vacation earlier so that he'd be well enough to go, and they chose Disneyland. I'm not sure what else we'll be doing out there. I'm just glad I actually get to go on vacation this year with them. Usually they go to Hawii.

That's in Anaheim, along with the Ducks Hockey team and Angels Baseball team (not next to Disneyland though). Its probably 20-30 minutes from where I live lol. Get ready for high prices and long lines though. Everything is expensive there from food to parking to admission, that's probably why I haven't gone since I was like 7. But if you get there on a non-busy day you'll have a blast, a lot of my friends have passes and really enjoy that and CA Adventure right next door. I'm sure you'll have fun, especially since its with your family although I'm sorry to hear about your uncle :(
