Switching Domains to F150Nation.com

Greetings everyone,

So it's been decided that f150-forum.com is too similar to other F150 forums out there. So to try and help set us apart and make a name for ourselves, we are going to relocate to F150Nation.com This will help make marketing & growth easier since when people talk about "f150 forum" it's kind of ambiguous.

This transition will hopefully be occurring within a week or so.

Everything here will remain the same. All the posts will stay, all the member info will stay. Basically, one day soon you will type in "f150-forum.com" and you may not even notice it, but your browser bar will say "f150nation.com" at which point you can still login and continue using the forum.

I'm letting you guys know now so if you see the URL change there isn't any confusion. Once again, no data will be lost, everything will remain the same.

So what do you do? Continue coming to f150-forum.com, when you see it says f150nation.com, don't panic... proceed as you would normally.

There will unfortunately be downtime with the app. The app can only work on one URL, so when we do the change we have to have the app modified and then resubmitted. This should be a fairly smooth process on the android marketplace, but Apple takes a good week or so to approve changes.

However, the tapatalk app should remain unaffected as it operates differently (uses the tapatalk servers for URL data).

I didn't try this morning, but last night on my app I would be logged in, but I couldn't access my profile, send messages, or reply to threads because it said I wasn't logged in. I tried re-downloading the app, but it was still the same. I have to use the website for it to work.

The app will take some time to get working again. Looking at another day or 2 for the android app... and apple usually takes another week or so extra.
