Edge programers are they worth it?

Hey guys,
Just picked up a 2010 f150 4x4 superCrew lariat.
Curious what the mpg boost is with the edge programmer?
I've heard it's the best but don't know.
I have had superchips stuff in my powerstrokes in the past and most recently my jeeps.
Just looking for some real world feedback.
Anyone know what other features they do for our trucks?

Welcome to the forum!! And to be honest I can't give you a straight answer because it depends on how you drive. If your drive economically you will see an increase but if you gun it all the time don't expect am increase lol. I have the Edge Evolution on my '05 4.6L V8 and it definitely gave it more power. I just leave it in towing mode and works just fine. Depending on how I drive and if its city or highway I've gotten around a .5 to close to a 1 mpg increase. But again this depends on your driving style and also what program you have it in. The Evolution has Mode 1 (fuel economy with no power gains just changes the shift points), Mode 2 (towing mode which for my truck claims a gain of 14HP and 35lb-ft of torque), and Mode 3 (High Performance, requires 91 or higher Octane and claims 30HP and 50lb-ft of torque gains for my truck). I have been on the fence for years an need a push to get 1. Maybe someone will comment and sway me. I just have a drop in k&n at this point. I keeping wanting to do exhaust too. Time will tell, I am a 5.0 guy so I never decided which way to go. Time for brakes and an upgrade on those soon, and time for shocks, then first tome close for plugs. Gotta decide if gonna do all the maint and programmer/exhaust or upgrade for brand new.

Edge is the way to go. And take your truck to the minekie guy in Berlin. There the best around if u don't do it yourself. Flowmaster all the way

That car is still there lol. All stainless. Flow master 40 on duals 550

Can't say, Idk anyone that has it, but Edge has great products and awesome customer support, you won't be disappointed no matter what route you go with them. Just saying though, for my engine and year the Evolution offered the best gains and was also the cheapest.
