Hey fellas, running a 2012 ecoboost here and think i may have developed a boost leak? Has anyone else noticed this or experienced any leaks?? I have not checked it all yet, but will when i get a chance. Thanks!

A boost leak? Is your boost gauge showing a low pressure reading? Could be your blow-off valves?

Well, i dont have a boost gauge, but in 5th 6th gear at a low rpm pull, i can hear and feel boost dumping off?

Think I know what you mean about that sound. I don't know if I would call it a leak though. I never hear the turbos in my truck, I only ever hear a lot of sucking.

Oh...I thought the Ecoboost would come with a boost gauge just like what the Superduty diesel has for its single turbo.

In your shift? Such as a waist gate?

Well guys, you know how in 6th gear our trucks will not downshift, but sometimes the torque converter will lock and the truck will pull hard at low rpm... Mine has always done that and i love it, but niw when ut does it i hear it releasing boost in spurts like once a second or so, and u can feel the power difference (pull and not pull)

Why not take it to a dealer? Aren't you still in warranty?

Actually no... Mine is an R title, im at 35,000 mikes now and loooove the truck, but no warranty

R title means reconstructed... Mine was never crashed or reconstructes... Mine was stolen and after it was missing for about 48 hours the insurance company labeled it a total loss

Oh I see, and they can't reverse that? And it voids the warranty? That really sucks.

That sucks, I think you might be on your own with any warranty issues, but I hope I'm wrong.
