Well this could be air conditioner drain plugged and runing inside or heater core is leaking! Water or antifreeze ... that's the differance between easy or baste red fix???

Its most likely the heater core. Smell the fluid. If it is coolant, then you need to rip the whole dash out.

I haven't had the time to check but ill make it a priority tomorrow I have smelled the fluid though before and I don't believe it had an odor.

Yeah then its most likely just A/C runoff then. If you don't have the A/C running, it should eliminate one possibility.

Also if you don't no the ac will run when you defrost!!

The compressor spins in all settings except "Panel" "Floor" and "Off". I really wish Ford used an A/C button instead of selecting modes for us.

My '05 has an A/C button. I can just have outside air blowing in unless I want ice cold A/C lol.

Are you kidding me? Damn you, Ford....

Nope, unless I select Max A/C on the switch I have to push it to get the A/C on.

I hear that sound occasionally on a cold day after I shut my truck off, I don't think it's abnormal. And the A/C drain plug will be under the front passenger side (explains the wet floor). Should be a little hose-like thing with an opening pointed downwards. Might just have road dirt built up and clogged the tip.

It might be different from 10th and 11th gens.

That too, but it still should be somewhere under the front passenger side because that's where the water is coming from. Unfortunately I have an '05 so it might be different like Alex said. Check again for any hoses/tubes under the passenger side.

We just looked AGAIN and nothing still I just don't know what to do we are lookin on the passenger side and we can't find any rubber tubes for the drain to come out

It's not rubber . Plastic housing had drain formed into the bottom side on the passenger. Under neath where the heater coolant lines and a/c lines enter the firewall! Not real sure cause I haven't had that yr.

I had the same problem my dad took the passenger wheelwell plastic out to get at it. the water was running out the drain and down the firewall back down into the truck. that helped dry everything up

So here's what happened me and pops took the truck up to our mechanic and he said he couldn't look today but its probably the heater coil .. we took the truck back home and looked again and found the hole coming out of the firewall with water comin out of it while the truck was running the drain has bursts of water of water not a steady flow or drip is that normal? And moisture has appeared under the passenger dash when we had the ac up high to get the drip. What yall think?

You can take a piece of stranded wire to run up the drain to see if something is keeping it from draining?

Got the problem fixed today cost me $50 the ac drain hole was having a blowback and it was causing the water to come in under the floorboard so he put a elbow on it and it solved the problem
