I have a 2004 XLT with a 4.6L Triton V8. It's had a slight whine since i bought it last year. However recently the whining has grown worse and now there is also a rattle-like noise coming from the power steering pump. Would these two issues be related?
Thanks for the help

I don't believe so. I pulled it out and changed it and put it all back together. And I didn't have a seal

Get some carb cleaner or nut remover and let it sit overnight to soak in, then try it.
