Anyone know why Ford got rid of the V10 option for the Superduty's? IDK when it disappeared but apparently it isn't an option for the 2012s or the 2013s.

The 3V engine is still available in the following trucks:

2012 Ford F-650 & Ford F-750, 2005-2013 F450/F550 chassis cabs, 2005–2010 Ford F-Series Super Duty

Its not very popular, low teens gas mileage. A diesel will tow more at better mileage.

Alright cause I was just messing around on the Ford website and noticed it had disappeared for the F-250s and 350s and was curious. Thanks.

It's still around. Just have to ask for it. It tows and goes pretty good but mileage isn't great without some toys to it. But very solid motor.

I'm pretty sure that since the 6.2L is now available in the Super Duties that they aren't going to offer the V10 in anything less than an F650

I thought the 6.2L was offered for awhile, I thought that was the base V8 gas engine for the F-250 and above.

Yes it is. They dropped the 5.4L not that long ago. And now the base engine is the 6.2L

That's what I was saying, but I recall the V10 still being available while the 6.2L was there, but I might be wrong.
