My 1998f150 is havin issues with the brakes, when I hit the brakes it will randomly lock the back brakes up, anybody know why?

Turns out my proportioning valve is good so wat could it be now

Is it all the time, like everytime you hit the brakes? Do you have drum brakes on the rear by any chance?

It does it in the morning and at night

And not during the day when it's warm, sounds like just drum brakes in general. When they get moisture in them they love to lock up, and at the worst of times.
