Need a place to go for a few days...

I just quit my job a few days ago, actually it was Friday sept 21st 2011, Job of 5 1/2 years, due to a large amount of stress an bull sh*t. I have my daughter for a few more days, an the day she goes back to her mother, I wanna load a bag of clothes, cooler of drinks, an all my Fav music an drive. Bad part is idk where to go. I only have so much cash I can spend on this trip, but I need somewhere that's got flowing water, good nice people, an a place to relax an clear my head. Any ideas?

If I were you I'd head to Colorado. Someplace with some nice mountain streams and whatever snow bunnies turn into when its not winter lol. Just had a guy that works for me get back from out there and he was talking about moving there since it was so nice and serene.

It is possible that a person can afford a truck and fuel for that truck on a day to day basis, but not be able to afford a couple thousand mile trip.

It's 2012 it's OK to own a truck and still be frugal enough to be concerned about rising fuel prices. Hell with prices where they are even people with economical cars are watching their p's & q's
