Check your solenoids and the vacuume pipes which is connected to your IWE actuators(engage and disengaged 4x4) . This sound 99 % of the time comes due to this. I had the same issue spent alot before finding it out .

I’ve recently had a new engine put it it also and when I took it to the to see about the noise they couldn’t figure out what was causing it.

Thanks I’ll check those this weekend

Sorry for not getting back sooner, I checked and changed the vacuum solenoid and that was my loud grinding and once I got rid of that by changing the part, I could here what I could feel in my peddles.

I hear what I’m guessing is probably my wheel bearing on my drivers side,
It makes a low tone winding/ growling noise anything over 40mph, also when I make l right turns it makes the noise but when I turn left it doesn’t make a noise

I had had the same problem with my 17. It was more prevelent in winter. Took it to the dealership and they replaced the solenoids and it corrected the problem.

I replaced the solenoids and it got rid of my loud grinding and I fixed my secondary grinding, stupidly I didn’t check my inner wheel well linings after I had my engine replaced, they forgot to put all the push tabs back in so it was blowing from the wind and scraping and flapping on my wheel
