    2005 f150 5.4L timing chain repair

I had a bad timing chain, opened it up and found two bad tensioners. Removed it all and installed a new timing kit and I experienced some issues installing it.

The right head side (passenger side) went in fine, but the left head side (drivers side) was a bit difficult. Once I finally got the tensioner in place, there was s on much tension on the tensioner that the clip just fell out without me pulling it.

With both clips pulled and everything in place, the passenger side chain has a very small amount of play while the drivers side is really tight. Does this sound like I messed something up? The only thing I have found is maybe I put the wrong tensioner arm on the wrong side? I didnt realize they were different.

    Thanks for the help!
