    3v or 2v

Seems like a silly question but what is the easiest way to tell if my 5.4l is a pos 3 valve or the better 2 valve engine?

Wow. you really felt the need to be like that? I know I need to buy the owners manual and Hanes manual. But this time of year is hard for the line of work I am currently doing. So no books till I absolutely need them. I thought it was 2v. Wanted to be sure and was Just trying to strike up a new conversation about 2 valve compared to 3 valve. Sorry if I ruffled your feathers bud.

I guess I'll just go to the dealer to get the original owners manual. Also since my truck is the 7700 series, could you suggest which haynes manual to get? I have actually put some time into trying to figure out which one but came up inconclusive. I wasn't not aware they didn't start with the 3v till 04. I'll do my research before asking a question so I don't bother you. I apologize if I aggravated you.

1.Do your research before asking a question so you understand what people are talking about when they try to help you. And you wont look as stupid knowing nothing
2.Online at ford.com you can get a free owners manual, info about your truck (whats on it when it was built etc)
3.No need to apologize to me
