    Heat not blowing cold

    Thermostat working, blender door working, don't see a heater control valve on this truck. 2001 f150.

    Heater core plugged up had a 98 same thing was going on. But I am far from a mechanic just shooting from the hip

    Sorry read the thread wrong thought it said heat not blowing warm not real sure why it won't blow cold

    Sorry. Meant heat is ONLY blowing cold. Saving heater core as last resort. Going to check everything else first but thanks for the response.

    Heater cores are a pain to replace but you may be able to flush the system and heater core and she will blow hot again

    True. Is it vaccume? U check everything fer leaks? My 03 is like that. What a pain in a**
    If that's any help. If u have vaccume lines

    I will check vacuum and try to flush the heater core. I'll let you know what I come up with. Thanks a lot. Ice storm in Memphis right now so have to tackle it this weekend.
