Sorry I'm a little late to the party, I was over on the Expedition website. If you've got a distributor that's turning, that usually is an indication your timing chain is intact, along with the cam. Its possible though rare your cam lobes are gone. Are you sure your gauge is good. I'd get another one from Oreillys/ Auto Zone, free rental, to be sure. If in fact you really do have 0 compression, you'll have to tear it down at least to the heads, and pull that timing cover anyway. I've worked on car's/trucks for close to 50 years, never seen a 0 compression motor on all 8!

The fact you lost total compression in all 8 cylinders is a sign that fuel flooded the lower end of motor. When that happens, all the oil gets washed away from cylinder walls, and rings can't seal. Same thing happens when a vehicle gets flooded with extreme water, like in a flood. You may have to tear down, or replace motor to bring back compression.
