    Joe, you are exactly right. Your truck is making considerable power and needs to octane. For the regular jo-blow who has a stock F-150, 87 is the best choice. My dad's Harley runs like chit on 87, he runs 93 in it and my airplane calls for 100LL aviation gasoline, although I have modified it to run on 93 auto gas (auto gas is MUCH CHEAPER!)
