Modified, Windsor, or Clevlend?
I have been looking into the specs on all of the 351's so far what I've seen the '96 351w with a 4 barrel carb is having the best look when it comes to torque and horse power, but I have heard of lots of people having problems with them. Anyone have a favorite if so why?

I'm with Joe, I like the Cleveland best.
Windsor= More aftermarket support, cheaper to build and easier to obtain your goals. Shoot I think they have 427 stroker kits out for these now, but pretty sure you'd have to go aftermarket block if you wanted it to last it was a sweet looking piece.
Cleveland = some aftermarket support, blocks have been out of production longer getting harder to find good ones. Cylinder Head Innovations | Cylinder Heads, Manifolds, Racing Parts is one of the better setups for heads and intakes. Biggest stroker kit I can remember hearing about is a 418.
There was a guy named Todd that was working on getting new Cleveland blocks cast, he was doing Steel blocks and aluminum blocks. Not sure where this project is at this point. But do know that some were released, shoot I remember helping him put the Aluminum prototype on a stand at the Ohio swap meet about 5 or 6 years ago.
Modified = Boat anchor.
