    Cobra intake?

I Have come across a Cobra intake on the Internet for sale. I'm wondering if it should just bolt on with no problems onto my 302. Also I'm asking opinions. Should I go for it or no? Would it actually do anything noticeable?

Does 400 sound fair? That's what he's asking and it shouldn't harm the motor? Correct?

As long as it's the upper and lower it will bolt right up. Be aware you will loose low end power and gain it in the top end due to the length of the runners. It may feel a little doggish when you are easy on the throttle. Might as well do a little hand porting to your throttle body while you have it off.

Porting is removing a little extra of the unneeded metal and smoothing the sharp edges for better air flow. The most common way to do it is called gasket matching. For example... Take the throttle body off and put the gasket on the back side. Take a Sharpe and color in all the metal that is still showing around the gasket. This is the unneeded metal. Bigger hole= more air flow. Then take a dremel and grind out the area you colored in. And bingo... Gasket match porting.
