Bigger hole= more air flow. Then take a dremel and grind out the area you colored in. And bingo... Gasket match porting.

I appreciate the input and opinions but I'm gonna have to pass on this opportunity. Don't exactly need it as of now because I'm in college and my money needs to go to gas and it might kill my gas milage! But thanks for all the help guys

---------- Never mind! I guess he changed his mind. At first he wouldn't take 300 and then he just texted my and told me to come get it

---------- Going back to the picture. I don't think it will go into my truck because the air intake runs into my battery. My battery is on the passenger side of truck and that's where this air filter is running to. In 5.0 mustangs have their batteries on the drivers side.

All you have to do is just rotate the tube to the other side. You should still be able to find a way to secure it down. Or use your stock intake tube, it should still hook up to the throttle body.

You can get the intake elbow off of a ford explorer and it will clear everything just fine

    ----------

It should also be noted the throttle cable needs modified
