    Leaking Carb

I have a 1986 f-150 and after jumping it after sitting for a year, it started to leak fuel at the front bottom of the carb. We did put some gas down the carb and it would start but not stay running. After some attempts we tapped the filters and pump. It started and ran, then idled rough and leaked, any thoughts?

Did the carb rust out? Maybe rusted a hole in the front? How about the little screw on the front that adjusts the idle speed? Did you adjust it?

I did not do any adjustments, it ran fine two weeks ago when I moved it, I went to move it too my garage to start restoring and this happened, we did try to start it quite a bit before this happened. Also I should mention it starts right up, idles and is fine for 20 seconds then idles rough and leaks, so it's not an immediate thing

That's what I was afraid of. I was somehow praying we put too much down the throat trying to start that it flooded but symptoms didn't seem to point that way
