    Oil change

Have a 1984 f150 300 i6 and I need to change the oil in it soon but I don't want to pay someone to do it. I know this might be a stupid question but how many quarts go into it?

One quick google search and the answer depends on your oil pan. It should be 5-6 quarts of oil and a new filter. Try 5 quarts and see where the level is at on your dipstick, if it's low fill it until its in the proper operating range.
